Selected Works

Zac Whiteside is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist, raised in New Zealand, working across sculpture, installation and performance. His practice engages material contradiction, visual metaphor and wordplay to explore the role and function of art. Recent works examine labour, masculinity, technology, housing and broader social systems through humour, participation and material experimentation.

In 2025, Whiteside undertook the Crucible Artist Residency at Gillies MetalTech Foundry in Ōamaru. He is currently supported by the Creative New Zealand Early Career Fund, developing new work examining housing, value and the instability of the contemporary property market.
