Zac Whiteside is an Ōtepoti-based artist, freelance videographer, and photographer working across sculpture, performance, and installation. His practice explores humour, labour, and the rituals of modern life through material contradiction, visual metaphor, and wordplay.
Zac graduated with First Class Honours from Dunedin School of Art in 2023 and is the co-director and curator of Pond Gallery, an artist-run space supporting early-career artists.
Alongside his art practice, Zac works with businesses and organisations across Aotearoa to create engaging photo and video content, with a passion for shooting on motion picture film whenever possible.

Photography
Zac offers professional photography services specialising in still imagery for brands, businesses, and events. His approach combines natural storytelling with visually compelling compositions to effectively capture your unique message and atmosphere.
He is available for commercial shoots, product photography, corporate events, promotional content, and brand campaigns both locally in Dunedin and across New Zealand.
Video
Zac offers versatile video services, working both digitally and on film, including 16mm and Super 8 formats.
Whether you need the timeless aesthetic of analog film or the crisp clarity of digital footage, he can deliver. Additionally, he provides professional drone videography to capture stunning aerial perspectives, enhancing storytelling with dynamic, high-impact visuals.
Art Commissions
Zac is currently open for commissions, creating sculptures tailored for both outdoor and indoor environments. His expertise spans a diverse range of materials, including bronze, steel, wood, ceramic, concrete, iron, and glass.
Available for sale upon enquiry, he offers select editions of previously exhibited works. Additionally, he is available to take on custom projects for clients
